How Relationships Work

Your bond with each NPC ranges from -2 to +4. Positive bonds unlock boons — advantages, help, and favors. Negative bonds risk banes — interference, rumors, and rivalry. The status label (Friend, Rival, etc.) is yours to set — it reflects how you see the relationship.
